Norfolk Children’s Advice and Duty Service (CADS) is made up of a team of Consultant Social Workers who have had specialist training and use a coaching style to empower partners to be more confident in working with families and meeting needs. The Consultant Social Workers will provide advice, support and signposting, identifying the correct services and support for the child or young person

NSPCC

NSPCC work to prevent abuse and help those affected to recover. Their website contains lots of information on what child sexual abuse is, and what to do if you suspect child abuse is taking place, and support and tips on how to keep children safe.

Childline

Childline is a confidential helpline for young people under the age of 19 to discuss with any issues they might be dealing with. They became part of the NSPCC in 2006 to help even more young people.

Our confidential helpline, website and campaign give advice to anyone with concerns about child sexual abuse and its prevention. We help parents worried about a child or young person’s behaviour, and professionals who work with children and families.

KOOTH

Kooth is an online mental wellbeing community where young people can get free, safe, confidential and anonymous online support and counselling. Young people can join discussion boards and find information such as articles, and personal experiences as well as tips from other young people.

Norfolk CHC

NCH&C provides community-based NHS health and care via more than 70 different service locations across Norfolk as well as providing a specialist Early Supported Discharge service to stroke patients in Norfolk and Suffolk.

Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership’s role is to make sure that all children and young people in Norfolk can expect to stay safe and that the appropriate action will be taken by relevant organisations, if children are in need of help. They are funded through partner agencies funding contributions and assistance in kind.
